PLAN-HOPE-DESTINY

It's natural human tendency to think about how we want our lives to be, what all we want from our lives, which path we want to pursue, who all we want to have in our lives, when and how we want things to take place in our lives, and perhaps everything under the sky should work according to our wish, if not in all but in most of the situations. Majority of us in our Teens, till we have not much had little Taste of life, are clichéd to think the same. However, as the experiences in life multiply in number with the growing stages, we slowly and gradually, discover THE REALITY. To some of you, the use of word "slowly" with "gradually" together may sound redundant; but the fact is, Reality is not understood in first go, it keeps hitting you time and again, till the opinion changes.

Reality may sound harsh, but if one sees closely, it is really not, as long as you have Faith in HIM. That is where the kindle of Hope is. It’s a vicious circle, you plan, you want things to work for you, you try hard, and at times you succeed, at times you don't. As long as you succeed the plan has matched well with the destiny. But the problem comes when you receive failures, failures could be in anything. That is when the Destiny and Plans are anti-parallel to each other, and that is where the meaning of Hope and Destiny is understood. At this juncture, where you find no one besides you, not because they don't want to, but due to their helplessness to help you deal with the situation, you discover you are not alone and you connect with HIM.

Hope is one essential ingredient that acts as a catalyst for oneself to get going at that very moment of distress, it is a silent prayer to HIM, and a thin beam of light to provide vision that we want to see. However, not necessarily what you hope, you will still get. This is the point where Destiny comes into picture. Some things are destined to be and they will be, despite of 'n' number of external forces acting on it, whether in its favor or against it, it is never accompanied by a second choice and the only answer to it, is its gracious ACCEPTANCE. And when you have faith in HIM, the Acceptance will not seem difficult, because then you have belief in HIM, accompanied by a very strong belief, that whatever will happen, will happen for Good. Sometimes it is not perceived at that moment, but later in life.

It is surprisingly true, that sometimes the dreams that come true are the dreams that you never even knew you had it at first place, because it is destined. Also, be known neither it mentors the fact that you should stop chasing your dreams or not work towards your goals, just because what Destiny wants will happen. You just need to work towards your plan knowing that things aren't going to go as planned and have faith in God's plans, which will lead you to the Destined place. Here, I would like to share a piece of my life with you all to exemplify this aforesaid fact. I, as a student in school, was preparing for medical exams to become a Doctor, in order to keep my options open I gave my Engineering (henceforth used as Engg.) Exams too. As the fate was, I never made it to Medical, rather got admission into an Engg. College, where I opted for Engg. in Biotechnology. During the Engg. days I realized,  I am not meant for core Biotech, since I scored more in Non-Bio subjects rather than my own Bio subjects. That was the time I decided I am not going for Research for my post graduation, will pursue something in Management side. All this time, I was having setbacks one after the other, because what I was aiming at, I was not having the desired fruits of my hard work. Anyhow, I never lost hope and nothing deterred my belief in HIM. Back home, like all Indian moms are, my mother consulted an Astrologer to generally ask about my future, where she came to know, I will do something in Law as far as my professional life goes. This piece of information she chose not to share with me at that time but found herself confused (she told me later though). And as they say, it’s all DESTINY, I had all my focus laid on MBA in Biotechnology, and during this time in my Internship I got introduced to the world of Patents, which requires both Legal knowledge as well as the Technical know-how of the invention to be patented. As they say, rest is history, I pursued the field became an Indian Patent Agent at the India Patent Office, and started my career in a Law firm. From here on there was no turning back, and believe me, this has been the best Field as far as my interests and passion were concerned. I thoroughly enjoyed studying during my Post-graduation and passionately did my work at office. And still am driven towards it like a beginner.

This entire time destiny was preparing me to be here, about which I did not have the slightest of hint before. And till date and shall forever be grateful to God for not making me clear my medical exams, for giving me tough times at college with regard to studies, for showing me the light to reach to the place where I was destined to belong to.  As the famous Hindi saying goes, "Samay se pehle or Kismat se zyada kissi ko kuch nahi milta."

Likewise, people come in our lives, play their part and as Destiny demands, either they remain in our lives or go away from our lives. Therefore, adapt yourself to the life you have been given, and truly love the people with whom destiny has surrounded you.

I wish to conclude here by saying my mom's advise, "Give your best at whatever you doing, don't worry about the future, about the results, never let failures affect you because better plans are in store for you and have faith in HIS plans". So be patient, broken pieces will all fall in place One day and you will feel good and be thankful about it.  Keep the spirit high and get going.

POWER OF WORDS

Every Feeling perceived by any human being is a reverberation of the "Words" chosen to be spoken to someone, or given a hear-say when spoken from someone else's mouth or the repeated remembrances of the same. Either its a Compliment, or a mark of Appreciation, or an expression of Joy or a Promise or a Big Lie, or a Bitter Truth, or an Agitation or a Sugar coated statements, they all are a compilation of chosen words, that makes all the difference.

"Think before you speak", who can deny not having heard this phrase before. Every parent, every teacher, every person associated teaches us "The" phrase. At a tender age when it is told, its any other learning among other things back then, but its real meaning is registered into our minds only when it gets matured enough to understand the basics of life and the people in it, in other words the complexity of Life. And it is the mantra from the Gita of Hindus, from the Bible of Christians, from the Quran of Muslims, and so on. The one who gets a command on this, unequivocally is a Winner in the sphere of Mankind. But the irony of life is, we most of the times find ourselves in the process of learning the same.

With the aforesaid phase follows few more that cannot go unmentioned, "Words once said cannot be unsaid", "It's easier to leave angry words unspoken, than to mend a heart those words have broken", and the list goes on. However one believes it or not, its so true. Needless to say, these not only apply to close relations of family and friends, but with Bosses and Colleagues at work place, to the Politicians who reach out to the public through their selected bunch of words, to the Lawyers, who manipulate the words to make the case in their favor, to the Teachers, who carefully choose their words while speaking to children in the class who are learning from them. Its all a Game of Words.

One very often gets caught in his own words and fail to convey what he really wants to say. The power of
Words, trick the thoughts and best of the intentions loose their essence a midst words spoken. Its a big ocean in here, where thoughts pour in but fail to have a vent through Words, majorly the only means in which they can be communicated. It is surprising, the major complexities in life come from the easiest 4-letter word in the dictionary, the "WORD", and yet at the same time, often, the Trust develops through the "WORDS" spoken.

WORDS have such immense power, that they help people in framing their opinion about a person's personality, and become a decisive factor for a start of friendship or any relation or for an employee to be recruited. That's how important is the use of Word in our lives, they can either make you or break you. So its up to you how you want to use them.

Last but not the least, no matter how complex the above said may sound, but the best of things have also been achieved through wise use of words. As long as the intentions are genuine, the purity is there, Words will find a way through your feelings to reach out to the concerned, just have to be given a slight thought.

Be a Free Bird and Enjoy Life

Life, just a 4 Letter word, but difficult to describe in words. Some people call it Complicated, some call it Monotonous, some call it Adventurous, some call it challenging, some call it Boring, etc., etc. But what actually Life is, cannot be expressed in words either through writing or verbally, but if I have to describe it in one sentence Life is a sweet bitter pill (just like Gujarati food, you will have the taste of all the spices but at the same time also find the sweetness).

An incident that shook me and changed my perspective of life and assuring me that life is enclosed in an aura of uncertainty with no surety of the continuity into the next moment.  Whatever you have is, is this very moment, make the most of it and live it happily. It so happened that our regular tiffin supplier in his early 30’s,  came on his normal supply on one Wednesday and was standing to deliver the same, joking around but shortly after two hours a small gathering immersed in spell bound silence caught my eye and my feet immediately walked in anxiety to the place of occurrence. I could hardly believe what I heard about the sudden demise of the same tiffin guy within a span of just 2 hours. He died that evening because of heart attack. His laughing face just seen was continuously passing before my eyes and his chirpy face of afternoon was still fresh in mind and with this news suddenly dawned a dark image of him lying in the coffin, convincing me of the uncertainty of life. This immediately put a question in my mind: of how many of us knew to live life in full zest and gusto.

That was one point where I was actually made to think, that how many of us actually know how to enjoy life. It is sad that in these contemporary times, where man starts the day with a checklist with To-Do list and ends the time only for meeting deadlines and draining absolute energy at the end of the day. Pointless leading a life like this when cannot enjoy the leisure and pursue hobbies. While preparing for the time which they haven’t even seen they forget the comfortable present and let it go away and might repent later that then present which has now become past was so better. The basic problem with majority of us is that while we at present, we are either living in our past or future, but not in the present.

Life is too short and wasting time on bad moments and unhealthy experiences in life, is suicidal. Be happy whatever life offers you, at the end of the day either you achieve something or get a lesson to be learnt. Live your life happily by being in tight control of your choices and not living someone else’s choices, fulfill your dreams, be whom you really are, and pursue what you really love doing. Other’s opinions may be heard but don’t let them dawn on your inner voice. Might wonder, it is so easy to say but when you actually do it, then you would realize the level of satisfaction that it gives. I have always believed doing things what I felt is right and what my heart wanted me to do. In doing so, yes I do have my shares of ups and downs, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. However, at the end of the day, I feel happy at least I did what I wanted and had the courage to follow my heart and intuition without giving myself a chance to repent later for having not tried.

When I see people around cribbing about life, weeping over the past, I pity them. It’s an assassination of the time at present, as eventually nothing is permanent in life. Life goes on. And that is a fact. After every dry season, there is a good harvest.  After every dark night, there is a bright morning. After every spell of hopelessness, there is a new hope and after every failure, there indeed is a great success. So cheer up, smile at your problems and kiss them away happily because after that period there is a better day that awaits. Life will become so much easier, considering the fact that life is short and you don’t have time to mourn over spilt milk. Live afresh.

Somewhere I read that “Death is very likely the single invention, biggest invention of life. It clears out the old to make way for the new one. So whatever time you have got do not spend your life selling sugared water, instead be your own self and live life your way because your life is going to be some one else’s once you die.” Such is a very limited time you get to live on earth as a person whom you are born as. Every year, on January 4, when I wake up in the morning, I find myself growing with another year adding on to my age. I wonder the years I have spent on Mother Earth and how many more destiny gives me to stay amongst my loved ones and follow my dreams and fulfill my wishes. Life definitely is very Uncertain, you never know what holds next for you, that is why they say “Whatever it is Do it Today”, you don’t know what circumstances surround you the next moment. So what you have got is the Present, Now!!! So go ahead express your desires, do what makes you happy, be it shopping, dancing, traveling places, watching theatres, whatever you feel like doing, express your feelings to your loved ones, tell them how you feel about them, compliment the people if they do something good or look good, spread the happiness around with your beautiful charm and positive nature.  And then you will know how life starts following you and you become a challenge for the problems instead of problems becoming a challenge for you.

Here one line that every friend would say after hearing your problem, and that is ”Light le yaar, Chill maaar..…”

Zindagi sach mein Nai Milegi Dobara, jeeley issey khulkey!!!!
